  • A female student reported her Bradley ID as lost and used fraudulently at 6:20 p.m. March 27. A Bradley University Police Department (BUPD) investigation showed that an unknown male used her card to get into the Markin Recreation Center. Another unknown male accompanied the first male, but used a different female’s Bradley ID to get into Markin.

  • An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Duryea Ave. house around 11:30 a.m. March 27 on a report of a BB gun firing at the house. A male student resident said around 10:30 p.m. the following night he heard something hit his window. He went outside and saw holes in his window, and noticed the house directly across the street had a party going on. A window on the second story of the house was open. The next morning, an officer went to the house with the open window and spoke with a male student resident who said his roommate lived in the room with the open window. The roommate, also a male student, denied having a party but called it a “get-together.” He also denied shooting out the window, although he did have a BB gun. The roommate was told to speak to Residential Life about the incident. The BB gun was confiscated and stored at the BUPD.

  • An officer met with a female Student Center staff member around 10:25 a.m. March 28. The staff member said sometime during the previous day someone took four rolls of toilet paper from the first floor men’s bathroom. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

  • Officers came to a house in the 1600 block of Barker Ave. around 4 p.m. Monday on a report of an attempted burglary. An officer spoke with a male student who said when he returned home, he noticed the rear door of his house was kicked in. The male said he didn’t find anyone in the house and that nothing looked out of place or was stolen. The three male student roommates said they didn’t know of anyone who could have done it and they did not see anyone suspicious. Officers took pictures to document the incident.
