Kickin’ It For St. Jude – Nov. 15
Get ready to see some amazing dance performances, all while helping St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event starts at 7 p.m. at Markin and costs $3 to get in. All proceeds will help St. Jude, and those who go will be treated to performances by Orchesis, Lost Soles, Flynn’s Irish Dancers, Peoria Ballet, Ottawa Dance Academy, Ballroom Club, Peoria Latin Vibe and Salsa Club. The ladies of Epsilon Sigma Alpha are putting on the event, with Josiah Williams as MC. If dancing’s your thing, this is one show not to miss.
Battle of the Bands – Nov. 15
Powerhouse bands prepare to face off, with the winner getting to play a show center stage at the CEFCU next year. Come on out and support the bands, including Three and a Half Men, Clippoint, The Searching Sevens, The Sites and Devil’s Brue. The battle will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Peoria Gateway Building, with $5 admission.

Masters of Villany – Nov. 16
More great bands to rock out to are coming thanks to the Revive Movement, who want to revive the music scene in Illinois. The event starts at 7 p.m. at the Cherryberry Yogurt Bar in Normal, Ill. Bands playing include The Beauty In Her Eyes, Made From Myths, Daydream Director, Peacekeeper, Slaughter Camp and Pity The Survivor. Admission is $6, but dressing as your favorite horror character will get you in for half the price. Those mourning Halloween will love this show, so go while you still have a chance.
Mr. BU Pageant – Nov. 20
Kappa Phi – Beta Iota, Bradley’s club for Christian university women, is having their male pageant at 8 p.m. next Wednesday in Neumiller Hall, and President Glasser will be a guest judge. Keep checking out the Kappa Phi – Beta Iota Facebook page for more info on the contestants. You can still sign up if you want to be in the pageant, so contact Kappa Phi – Beta Iota through their Facebook page. Admission is $2, so go watch the men of Bradley strut their stuff.
