Police Reports: September 4, 2020

  • A woman unaffiliated with the university stole a box filled with 10 pounds of bacon out of a vehicle in the Campustown parking lot between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Aug. 21. The suspect is still unknown.

 

  • A 19-year-old male student was found passed out in the grass in Olin Quad on Aug. 29 at approximately 9 a.m. He was confused about the time and location and had lost his shoes, wallet, Bradley ID, phone and keys. He admitted to consuming alcohol the night before and was evaluated by medics and released from further treatment.

 

  • On Aug. 30 at approximately 2 a.m., a smoke detector was activated in the second floor common room of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. No smoke or fire was reported and the alarm was reset.

 

  • On Aug. 23, a female student reported that an unknown person was knocking on the door to her room in the Student Apartment Complex and turned the deadbolt to her door with a key. A request to change the door locks has been made. The investigation is still ongoing.

 

  • On Aug. 30 at approximately 11 a.m. at the 1011 W. St. James St. apartment building, smoke from an overloaded washing machine caused the fire alarm to activate. No fire was reported and the alarm was reset without further incident.
