Police Reports: November 15, 2024

  • On Nov. 8 at 10:40 p.m., a student was re-interviewed by BUPD regarding an Oct. 28 report of hazing that she was the victim of. The student reported to BUPD that that week during the sorority recruitment process, she was forced into a plank position and had a sorority member sit on her back while simultaneously throwing full plastic water bottles at her. The victim collapsed and had to be hospitalized for a broken rib. The suspect was arrested for hazing and appeared in court for the incident before being released.                                                                                                                                                                                            
  • On Nov. 7 at 6:20 p.m., a non-Bradley-affiliated individual reported that their e-bike was stolen outside of Dollar Tree in Campustown. The individual claimed that the bike was not locked up properly when they entered the store, and when they exited, it was missing. The suspect and bike have not yet been found.                                                                                                
  • On Nov. 11 at 6:50 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a fraternity house through an open back door. The suspect was caught on a camera outside the house stealing a sound system and party lights. BUPD has not yet located the suspect and an investigation is ongoing.                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • On Nov. 6 at 7:55 a.m., a staff member found a missing wallet outside of Markin with two driver’s licenses inside and reported it to BUPD. The student admitted to using one of the licenses as a fake ID to purchase alcohol. The license will be sent to the Secretary of State.
