“The Office” – “Halloween”

No one celebrates Halloween better than the employees of Dunder-Mifflin. The hilariously accurate comedy depicting an American office does not disappoint in their first Halloween special. The main plot of the episode is Michael Scott (Steve Carell) deciding whom he is going to fire on Halloween, something he has put off all month.

Throughout the course of the episode, Michael contemplates how to fire someone in a way that doesn’t ruin his friendship.

This episode comes complete with costumes including a sith lord, Mr. Incredible and three-hole punch Jim.

“Parks and Recreation” – “Greg Pikitis”

In the Halloween themed episode featuring everyone’s favorite government workers, Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) is prepared to stop high school prankster Greg Pikitis (Cody Klop) from vandalizing a government statue.

Carefully protecting the statue and diligently watching Pikitis with her police officer boyfriend, Dave (Louis C.K.), Pikitis instead vandalizes City Hall.

To get out of trouble, Pikitis hires a fake mom from Craigslist, a trick many kids wish they had thought of.

“Modern Family” – “Halloween”

Have you ever gone somewhere and found you were over or underdressed? Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) shows up to work dressed as Spiderman for Halloween only to find out his coworkers didn’t dress up. Mitch struggles to get changed out of his costume and ends up using his climbing skills to scale down the office building.

Claire (Julie Bowen) tries to have the whole family put together a House of Horrors, but her plans are foiled when Jay (Ed O’Neill) tells Gloria (Sofía Vergara) people can’t understand her and Phil (Ty Burrell) is worried Claire will leave him.

Each scene is filled with one-liners that make each episode great and an added bonus for Bradley students is when Jay dresses up as Bradley’s mascot.

“Friends” – “The one with the Halloween Party”

What friend group doesn’t argue about who would win in a fight? Ross (David Schwimmer) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) battle to defend their pride at a Halloween party after Chandler’s wife, Monica (Courteney Cox), picks Ross.

Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), pregnant at the time, gives out candy to practice handling children, but hurts her wallet in her attempt to win the love of the trick-or-treaters.

This episode of “Friends” features the only Halloween party where you will see people dressed as a pink bunny, Spudnik and the solar system.
